Nasus main here, great video as always RTO. The best tip I could give someone who wants to main Nasus, is to find a Jungler duo, who can play Junglers with early game impact and CCs (Elise etc) and watch your videos on how to freeze the minion waves. Thanks for the great content RTO. Here I leave a link on my guide for Nasus.

Yeah i also kinda like more going third item frozen heart than going righteous glory… also is it good to take bloodthirster in late game for last item? i mean conqueror and bloodthirster could be unkillable.

Best rune for Nasus is lethal tempo. I used only this champ with only this rune and I always win all game. I'm D3 now. All the rest is fantasy.

Great guide! Any advice on the game settings? I'm concerned if it's good or not the auto-attack option. I find easier to farm (early game especially) but i dunno if I should turn it on as i get max Q and/or mid-late game pushing and team fights, cuz i found quite uncomfortable to spam my right click hoping I'll hit someone with my Q I've already casted 😅

8:13 yeah take that item when you''ve been bullied by the jungler (as you should) all laning phase and tell me how you perform when you get kitted by the enemy as you try to get in range . How about Spirit Visage, to get tanky, like you've said you're supposed to, earlier in the video ?

6:53 it's coup de GRACE you ignorant dipshit, read the ability's title, there's no trick . Coup de "GRAS" means "Fat shot" in french (litterally hitting someone with a piece of fat) whereas "coup de grace" means fatal blow .

What are the situational items for Nasus? I know Adaptive Helm is a good one versus DOT champs like Teemo, Rumble, and Cassiopeia. Are there any others?

As a Nasus "main" with only 50k mastery, I noticed that RTO forgets to tell you a lot of stuff, like how you take trades, more viable runes and itemization.

The best runes for Nasus are probably Conqueror and Phase Rush. Conqueror just scales better than Grasp with its healing and overall teamfight potential. Grasp is good for that small bonus healing when you get all in'd early. Phase Rush was amazing before the rework and is even better now. If their team has a lot of CC, go Phase Rush with precision as secondary. (ALWAYS, ALWAYS take "legend: tenacity". ALWAYS) That extra 5% cdr from cosmic insight is just not worth it, you will end up missing your Tri-force procs and end up doing less damage. As long as your Q is above 1.5 sec you are fine, but if you use too fast you will miss possible extra damage from tri-force.

Summoner's: Always ghost and flash. You need as much mobility as you can get. Ghost is the perfect summoner's for Nasus just because you can move on from targets really quickly when they die or disengage. Teleport is only good for making late game plays where you TP in with super minions and one shot their nexus, but winning teamfights is more important.

Items: You are most likely always meeting at least one mage, so your most important item after tri-force is spirit visage. If you have conqueror, spirir visage makes it heal for ~20% of damage dealt, which is INSANE when you have 24% lifesteal. If they have a healing debuff on you, you will still outheal their damage with your lifesteal and conqueror. It's like you didn't take conqueror and you still have your passive healing you. A favourite for me is building thornmail, usually my second item. Very high armor that scales into late game, health isn't as good as more armor since you heal so much. After that, just continue building dead man's plate, adaptive helm against mages with poison (malzahar, teemo, morgana etc), randuin's (only if they have 2 crit champs usually). Whatever you feel like. Sterak's gage is pretty good too.

Early game: Do not trade before at least 50 stacks, your Q is just wasted when you could have stacked with it. If they go all in, like Riven or Renekton, just W them. If it's lvl 1, just run, don't try to trade. If your farm is zoned from you at level 1, just stay far away enough so that you can get the exp from the minions. The wave will inevitably crash under your turret. Because of your lifesteal, you should always hit a minion with one basic and then instantly Q. If the turret is killing the minion with one shot if it comes under turret, make sure to hit it as many times as you can before it dies, for that extra lifesteal. Your lifesteal is the only way you're going to survive early. If your laner doesn't have a single kill before level 7, you can easily win a 1v1 if you have sheen, almost any matchup except Tryndamere and Riven.

Mid-game: Don't group too often, you still need stacks. If you are ahead you shoud steal jungle from both teams to stack. If your team is spam pinging you to come mid when they are 4v5, just ignore them unless they are planning on forcing a fight (stupid choice by them). Always try to stack at least 3 minions in the wave when you're pushing, even if it takes longer to push. The enemy team will probably react by sending 2 or 3 people to the lane you are pushing. If you are ahead, just kill them. If they are ahead, try to run and use your W. That way, your team will have an advantage and can push mid (a little bit at least). When you group, make sure to ALWAYS keep stacking, just focus on getting cannon minions, since they are easier to take for you, compared to your team.

Late game: Keep stacking, push lanes and start hitting the tower, when someone shows up, they are not alone, almost never. So just run into the jungle and farm. Then come back after one wave. Your mission is just to keep track of your team and make sure that they are grouping on the opposite lane to you so that you can push for longer. Or just get caught on purpose and let your team push. It is essential that your map pressure is VERY high during the mid game and late game. If not, you are useless as a Nasus.

Anything more I need to add? Probably, but I won't because it will just look sad because of how long it would take to write all that extra stuff. Took 15-20 minutes ish to write this.

Kind regards, Just a passionate Nasus player

I believe that approach velocity is broken on Nasus and hence I take it with biscuits. Also, considering Q has almost no CD with 40% CDR and ult, I would take the extra ms over it.

    Why Cosmic Insight > Boots?
I understand the Importance of CDR on Nasus, but is it better than saving the 300 Gold for Boots (which makes a hard triforce Rush better) and having more Movement Speed in the End?

And why didnt u mention Revitalize or is it outweighted by Overgrowth?
It synergizes so well with Nasus Q and Visage, especially on low health.

And doesnt it boost 2nd Wind Healing as well?

And last – what i rly love on Nasus ist just building a glacial Shroud before even starting triforce, since its such an efficient item (and in itself slightly gold efficient) and helps me stay in lane vs other bruisers so much longer without rly getting into Mana issues.
